In morning 25 November 2014 it would not start on a controlled reboot.
This came about a month after a power failure in our house, I began to hear a strange sound from internal power supply.
By luck weekly backup was scheduled for Monday, so a near full backup was available, only loosing incoming e-mails for 24 hours.
Same evening my Acer One notebook was setup to act as temporary server.
Time to look for new server hardware.

For work I got this little machine.
Compared to Psion 3a this one could exchange data with Outlook.
In the start of june 1996 I got myself a Series 3a palmtop computer.
It is amazing what this little thing can do for you.
A complete desktop computer in micro size.
My model is a Psion Series 3a UK with 2mb RAM.
The internal 16bit CPU is 80C86 compatible, so it is easy to let this
computer talk to other computers through the serial link.
It has builtin 19200 baud modem, so by use of a modem you can connect to
most of the world.
The monitor is size 480x160 in 3 colors (black,grey,white).
The 2mb RAM is your internal harddisk and memory. It sounds of a little, but
applications are generally not so big for this computer.
You are able of playing golf on it.
Following applications are built into the ROM of the computer:
Data:
Create databases for addresses and other informations.
Word:
Write documents/memos using the word processor.
Agenda:
Plan your day using the very powerful personal organiser.
Time:
See the time and maybe set the alarm to wake up with your own recorded sound.
World:
See the time in other cities and countries. Also sunrise/sunset time.
Calc:
Make your calculations using the scientific calculator.
Sheet:
Take care of you finances using the spreadsheet application.
Spell:
Spell your words using the Speller and Thesaurus.
Patience:
Plag a game of card.
Record: Record your own sounds using the 8k/s digital sound recorder.
Program:
Program the computer yourself in the builtin OPL language, or you can get
Assembler or C for the computer.
Files from Agenda, Word and Sheet can be converted to and from
Lotus Organizer, Word for Windows, Word Perfect, Excel and many others.
There is a lot of shareware and freeware for the computer. Games from good old
arcade games to new 3D games like golf. Other applications like flight logbooks,
paint tools and also a Web Browser.
